NORAM, 2025
North American Rugby Cup
Hot Start, Graphics Package, Apparel
The North America (NORAM) Cup is a biennial gay and inclusive rugby tournament, and the largest rugby union tournament in North America. For two years, I served on the NORAM board as the VP, Marketing & Communications working alongside Chairman Quinton Leduc and designer Cameron Keicks to inform the art direction of the event. This included an onsite graphics package (including video editing, animation, sound design, and illustration), apparel design, logo design, weekly meetings and organization, and a whole lot of love.
The Boston Ironsides welcomed me with love back in 2018 and I have been a member of their community ever since. From player, to volunteer, to graphics liaison, this team means the world to me.
Roles
Animator / Illustrator / Designer / Art Direction
One of the main goals of the graphics package was to showcase all of the players as much as possible. The brand system that Cam, Quinton, and I put together informed key design decisions that brought our mixed media approach to life.
Graphics package included the NORAM branding blended into classic and iconic Boston imagery.
Onsite Design

The closing ceremony was held at Royale in Boston, where we fully immersed our attendees in the NORAM 2025 brand. Photo captured by the talented
J.D. Castro. The opening ceremony was held at BigNiteLive in Boston and was MC'd by the talented
MTHart. I created several animated portions for the opening that lived up on the big screen as well as information screens for all the other screens in the venue.

Commemorative design illustrated in photoshop.

Enamel pin drafts, featuring a call back to the t-shirt design and the Zakim bridge and the trans flag.
Enamel pin drafts, featuring the rugby phrase "With You" surrounded by the colors of the trans flag.
Final pin production! An aspect of this tournament was protest. Trans lives matter and are here to stay. All are welcome in inclusive rugby and there is no room for hate.
